Reflexology is based on the theory that the feet are divided into zones within which reflex points lie that directly correspond with systems, organs and glands of the whole body. Areas of energy congestion within the body are unblocked with pressure and strokes on the feet with the aim of bringing the body back into balance naturally. A super-relaxing therapy that is a great stress-reliever, helping to restore balance to the body naturally and improve your wellbeing. While a single treatment is wonderfully relaxing, the best results are achieved with regular treatments. Having a treatment each week for a couple of weeks or so, will help to kick-start the benefits of reflexology. After that a treatment once every four weeks works for most clients. Treatment includes a 30 minute express mini Elim pedicure: An alkaline peel tonic will be applied to hard skin which will gently dissolve the bonds in the dead skin cells. Peels are more effective at keeping hard skin away as they do not stimulate regrowth of hard skin unlike friction removal methods. A hand and arm massage is given while you relax as the tonic is working. Hard skin is then removed with a gentle scraper and the feet buffed with pumice. A foot balm is then applied - a powerful humectant designed to maintain hydration. With a unique gel powder formula, feet are nourished and protected with a non-slip finish. All finished off with a spritz of scented gold spritz spray - a burst of shimmer to beautifully soft and hydrated feet!
